Larry Leon Lehenbauer, age 73, died Thursday December 31, 2009 after an extended illness. He was born November 11, 1936 in Kingfisher, OK to Kenneth and Minnie (Prater) Lehenbauer. He was a member of the US Navy and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Tinker AFB. In 1997, he and his wife Carolyn moved to Mustang and raised Llamas. His llamas became his “pets”. He also loved to go fishing until his health began to fail. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Carolyn, of the home and one daughter Brenda Caskey and husband Anthony of OKC. Also by four brothers Lynn and wife Brenda of OKC, Emil of Norman, Edward and wife Edna of Newalla, Frank and wife Barbara of Norman and one sister Peggy Lockhart and husband Larry of McLoud. He is also survived by one granddaughter Lauren Caskey of OKC. Private family services were held. Arrangements were handled by McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, OK.
