I just heard of Noble's passing and wanted to send mine and Jim's condolences to all of you. Although we haven't been in close communication over the years, I often think of the Small family and the legacy you left in Harrah at the church where I grew up. Noble was truly a man of God and I am sure that he touched many lives in the congregation(s) you have been a part of since moving away from Harrah. Noble was a true friend of my father who was called from this world way too young. I remember Noble being there to support us during that time. A true friend and servant. Noble called me about 5 years ago around Christmastime, (we had always sent Christmas cards, but lost track of you at the lastest move) It was a surprise and I still don't know how he got my phone number but I remember feeling glorious at the time in hearing that voice from the past and remembering my dad along with Noble on the phone. It was a nostalgic moment that I will never forget. I tried calling a couple of years ago but the phone number I had was incorrect. I am so sad I never got to talk to him again, but Jim and I were so blessed to have had him and Skip as role models when young and in our early married life. Noble was so aptly named by his parents. He was a great man. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy during this time. God Bless you guys!
