Chester Frank Dunlap, age 92, died Monday after an extended illness. He was born May 25, 1917 in Oklahoma City, OK to Brenton and Lizzie (Collins) Dunlap. He entered the US Navy after high school and served during WWII as an electrician and mineman 2nd Class. He worked many years for Oklahoma Electrical Supply until retirement in 1976. He was married fifty-three years to Mildred Harris and had one son, Roger. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Roger Dunlap, three brothers Mickey, Fred, and Hugh and two sisters Betty and Ruth. He is survived by one grandson Alan Dunlap of OKC, and two great grandchildren Brittnee and Kane. Services will be held at 2pm on Thursday March 4, 2010 at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, McNeil’s Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, OK with interment with military honors to follow at Mustang Cemetery.
